I had heard that Miller was nursing some kind of an injury?  Does anyone know?  From the way his numbers look, it looked like he barely got his openers on everything.

Miller got red lighted for depth on his opening 600 squat. He hit his 2nd attempt at 600 easily, deep and with a pause. He lost his balance at 800, but looked strong. I would say he would have been good for mid 700s on that day. He probably gets an additional 250 or so out of his equipment on the squat and another 200 due to IPA depth judging. He took only his opener for the bench due to a sore shoulder, but hit a personal best in the DL. IMO, he himself is great ambassador for the sport; you can draw your own conclusions as to whether gear and variable judging is as well.

NERB was awesome, lots of great lifters and lots of great fans. But i'm gonna tell you now, for anyone who has neverever been to UMass, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!  The chics there are of the hook, I think that is why I benched like shit it was to distracting!!! LOL!!!  The guy to girl ratio i was told is like 1 guy to every 3 girls in that area there are like 3 or 4 all girl schools. If you cant get laid there you must be gay!!!!

Mike you of all people should know that lifting is 90% mental. You got to be a machine and not let such things be a distraction. Work first, play later. Not that I have achieved such mental powers but they say it helps prevent you from dropping the weight on your dome.

Maybe you could ask the hundreds of bench specialists who post on powerlifting boards. hahahaha, good luck on your huge 540 lb deadlifts.
