the amount of people who die for steriods is nothing compared to what people die from smoking or drinking
BINGO! Now all we gotta do is get the US Congress to understand that simple basic logic and recently they have gone insane , so good luck with "them" making decisions on basic good sense and logic.
As you may have heard it was mostly DEMOCRATS in the senate that backed the Bush (our republican pres.) immigration bill that was big on ammnesty and asking Mexico persmission to build more fences , etc
Oh the other side of things , when DEMOCRATIC congressman from La Bill Jefferson was recently found with 90K in bribe $$ in his freeze , it was the REPUBLICAN speaker of the house , Hastert that defended him while the dems wanted him to resign from his comm.
This is the most wacky congress in history.
With all the other hard drug issues and health care perscription costs , why they are wasting time with baseball roid use and Bonds is beyond belief. Why not simply regulate steroids like anything else and allow sensible use to protect the overall welfare (health and legal)of the pro athletes in any sport.
Sadly, this makes too much sense for our congress.
