Back to the question at hand.  Yates should of at the very least shook hands with you.  Right now He's living off of what he was and who he is as a person.  Lee Labrada knows this.  He's always ready to shake hands or give an autograph to his fans.  He knows it's Him that their buying when they buy a Labrada product.  Same should go for Yates.  He's a salesman now and should give people who made him what he is the respect due.  It's really a dollars and cents question.  Who would you buy protein from a snob who brushes you off like yesterdays garbage or someone who seems genuinely happy that the fans remember him and the class he gave bodybuilding in the 70's-80's.  I'd rather give my $$$ to the guy who acts gracious in a crowd, not someone who just blows you off with a nod.  It's PR and you can't buy good PR.  Lee's got it Yates never had it, never will, bodybuilding aside.

Anyway, unless you own a gym, paying a pro $20 for a homo photo is as camp as a boy scout jamboree. Surely there's better ways to waste $20!!

Pros from all sports can be assholes, more so with bodybuilding - you got hormone issues, hunger, pct, lack of sleep etc. to contend with. Anyone who's done a cycle knows that. Then you got some pencil neck geek in ya face screaming for a photo and an autograph. The only time you really expect them to be courteous is at expos.

Not signing your name after you've spent $20, well that's another thing!!!

It is funny how perceptions differ from person to person. When I first read this post Tommy was one that came to mind as one of the nicest. Although I/we have only had one encounter with him, he seemed like a pretty good guy.
