Joe Ladnier is competing at the Masters Nationals on July 22nd, 2006. He won the Mississippi state NPC masters show & got 2nd in the overall heavies, so he can compete in the other national NPC contests for the next two years. I'll let you know what he looks like at the Masters since I'll be there with a camera.

A lot in the BB community didn't know who Ladnier was when he started competing, but I did because I get POWERLIFTING USA, & he's been in a lot of those issues. Not only as a competitor, but as a promoter. One thing a powerlifter turned bodybuilder brings is thickness, especially in his chest, back & upper legs. We're hoping for good things for Joe in his BB placings. The heavyweight class at the Masters Nats may be the strongest ever at this show (Cutri [although he may also be a superheavy], Pulcinella & Wentz).

I broke that guys arm. He had just broke the guys arm he wrestled before me. This was at Billy Bobs in Ft. Worth Texas. The news people dubbed me the California Kid. My manager promoted me as 300 lbs. So the news and every at the weigh-in were all around watching and I only weighed in at 299. He was pissed. Man I loved Ft Worth. If anyone is at Billy Bob's go in the gift store and see if my pcture is still hanging up in there. Great food too there. They had close to 8,000 people watching that event. It was packed and looud |
