1984.  Haney, Samir and Dickerson all on the same stage. Add Beckles, Fox and Paris.  Was an amazing show

If my memory serves me right, that was also the year Sergio Oliva was on stage too, right?  ???

The beginning of Ronnie's Reign.

The buzz surrounding that contest was intense.

First time a new Mr. O. would be crowned in 6 years.

Surely you feel that this year as well.  Jay Cutler promises to bring an alltime best condition, and pundits think King Ron just might lose this year!

1. 1984, so many greats on stage in one show.

2. Next year, after Big Ronnie has retired and Jay is upset by somebody unexpected.

I like both Ronnie and Jay, but the Olympia is more pridictable than the phases of the moon

Call me nuts, but I think Oliva would look better in that pic with slightly smaller forearms. There they look a bit simian...they're too big.
