...hmmm...while I don't believe Rhino won anything, it's pretty ballsy of him to outright lie about it. But it's true, without pics, there's no proof.
There's always a few side to the story though...there's a lot of smaller organizations that simply don't keep records or anything like that....they're pretty much small time shows.
Now, the chances that you don't have pics of yourself in a show really aren't that odd....here's a case. I competed a while back, and it was in a different city. Only one of my friends could make it, and he snapped a few pics along with taking some video on his digital cam. I won my weight class, and he caught that on video. There were some photos online and such, but only the overall winners were displayed in photos, and a simple sentence stating they won. And once the website got overhauled, all previous photos and results disappeared. In fact, if it weren't for my personal photos and such, I couldn't prove to anybody what happened that day either. And I don't have any photos with my actual trophy, just pics of us onstage wearing competitors ribbons (which all competitors got). But I still have the trophy....but being a small time show, there were no engravings on it, simply "First Place". And the only other way to get pics at show is to pay the fee for the 'company photograher' to snap a few in a package, which was pricey. I paid it, but there were many who did not, or could not. So there's very few ways to keep the memories, if the chips are down.
Mind you, Rhino competed in a NABBA national level show, not some small time regional qualifier...so you'd think there was some photographs.
I can understand why someone wouldn't post pics of themselves here, because people just go to town with the ownings. Look what happened to 240 and Vince Goodrum! Can you blame anybody for not putting up pics of themselves? Maybe he doesn't want to post said pics because he wasn't happy with the way he looked...but winning the overall would mean you'd look MUCH better than many who post here, so go figure.
But if you're out to prove something, then do so properly. If there truly aren't any pics, Rhino, then it's best just to realize that since you can't prove it, most won't believe you. That's just the way it is. Most people really don't care, but it is entertaining listening to Chick and you go at it. That's what getbig is for....LAUGHS!!! ...at least, in the gossip and opinions section.
Anyway, if the PDI has a show, and you compete, then we'll see those pics no doubt. If not, getbig never forgets and it'll be a topic brought up every time you say something. If you really don't care, then I wouldn't post anything looking for apologies or that sort.
