Ive been a victim of prejudice many times but I felt more indifference from people of color than whites. It is the black people that Ive felt  more prejudice from because I am not pure black. Im being honest here.

Vince, you need to drop this issue. You are making a big issue out of something small. You should put more effort into your bodybuilding and dieting ...you really need to stop your complaining and start actually put more time into building that body....

No, but I can imagine that if Vince used to "mix it up" with the inmates on a daily basis while working as a corrections officer, he probably heard some pretty colorful language and threats. 

And middle school social studies class should have exposed him to the horrors of slavery, racial injustice, and people being murdered for their skin colors and beliefs.

Its not as apparent, but it still exist... how many black friends do you have ? Let me guess your best friend is black. racism down south is much more institutional now.

I have many black friends that I work with, hang out with, and talk to on a regular basis. But keep in mind there are some from both colors who continue racist tendencies. I had a friend from Michigan come to Mississippi a few years ago and was surprised.

Whites stay with whites as black stay with blacks in the south. I was in Mississippi for a few weeks. I hated it there. For someone to say that they dont notice it must not be seeing the big picture.

I grew up in the rural South and there is a LOT more racism here in California than I ever experienced back home.

My daughter's mom experienced something the other day for the first time.  While watching the kids at gymnastics practice, a 40-something White woman said to her, "Is the Black one yours?"

K was in a bit of shock, but said, "Yes". 

In the same position, my reply would've been a simple, "The pretty, well-behaved one is mine."

It was like an eye always watching you to see if you were going to steal something or someone's hand shaking when you are paying someone. Its like they were scared I was going to rob them or something. It wasnt something I was looking for.

Have you ever been to a place where you were the only "minority"? In Hawaii, whites and blacks are the minority. There are some locals in Hawaii who are prejudice to whites as to blacks....

Having lived in both environments and geographical areas I would agree with this post.  I think the southern stereotype is that blacks and whites don't live well together in the south, usually stated by northerners.

You know it is odd it is always black and white.  Blacks are even the biggest minority and whites, soon enough, won't be the majority.  It is time to look start paying attention to birth trends and immigration (from all countries).

The only place in the world where race and class mix without any lines is New York City.

Go to DC and Chicago, these are the most voluntarily segregated cities I have ever seen. Blacks are on one side of the street, whites on the other. Blacks serve whites and whites ignore blacks. New York City is the only city in the world that doesn't see race or class and judges you as an equal from the get go.

As you say, blacks tend to hang with blacks, and whites tend to hang with whites.  However, this is by choice, not by fiat, and what you're missing is even though the groups keep to themselves, there is genuine respect between the two groups, and little or no hostility or racism.  (at least in 2006, 40+ years since the civil rights movement).

In the North, the groups tend to mix much more frequently, but here's the difference:  when they (whites, blacks, or whoever) get into a group that includes only their own race, a lot of serious racist attitudes and hostility comes out that is hidden just below the surface. Because of this, I tend to think the North is more racist than the South, and I am a native Northerner who has lived in both.

Yeah, but after experiencing that growing up, then in college, then in the military...it's pretty much behind me now.  I was brought up with the knowledge that ignorant people would always be ignorant...they couldn't help the fact that they weren't raised better.  

Being well-spoken and well-mannered opens doors for you that those fools will never get the chance to walk through.  You've already done more and achieved more in your life than most of them ever will, and that's a credit to you despite the fact that you aren't packing a lot of "street cred".  The only people making a fortune on street cred are Whites and Jews...Blacks have been duped yet again.

I remember living in Hawaii. I was going to Radford High School as a freshmen. I remember one time I wasnt feeling good and went into the bathroom to throwup. Then this black kid locks the door of this bathroom along with other black kids and start mocking me because "I dont talk like them or act like them" and because I had alot of friends that were asians and whites. But it was just so weird how "they" can accept someone who is a "wigger" talking slang or trying to walk, talk black. In Hawaii blacks are more accepting to even asian wiggers who act like they are black but act like that because of the music or whatever trend.

But it is weird that they arent accepting to the blacks who talk proper english or who are nice to everyone.

I don't like beer and I rarely eat doughnuts however I am on a higher calorie diet than last time because I'm training 7 days a week now.  4 days in the gym going heavy and 3 at home on my Total Trainer machine going lighter with more reps.  Come 4 weeks out it will be a split routine twice a day and 6 days a week.  Food is mainly tuna, egg whites, and chicken beast and my cheat meals are usually steamed salmon or lobster with sushi if you can call that a cheat meal.  My diet stays relatively clean

I can piss off a crowd of people or make them cheer for me in a matter of seconds at any wrestling venue I go to.  Even without saying a word.

The main key to a pro-wrestler's sucess is how well he can shoot.  (For those who don't know, its talking shit about an opponent and uplifting himself at the same time).  And boy can I shoot on someone.  Lee Priest doesn't have the skills to match mine because I got paid for my talent.  I broke Lee's ass down like some cheap plastic lego blocks.  He can't hang with Triple V anyday.  He is however a good whipping boy to keep my skills honed since I'm no longer in the business.

You wrestle and don't know the difference between a shoot and a promo.  A shoot is a real wrestling match.  When 2 guys can't work together instead of tearing apart the locker, they shoot.  Rick Steiner is famous for shooting.  A shoot fight VS. a scripted match.  You can go from heal to babyface and the fans will turn in a second, but that's not called a shoot.  Lou Thez was probably the greatest shoot fighter ever.  He could win a match with deadly holds that would make you squeal, shit and submit.  You must of been quiet a shooter in your day, if you had a day.
