Stavios is right, it's pretty much set in stone that he will turn pro next month. Flex is a helluva kid. Very nice and humble and has a good head on his shoulders. Unfortunately like already stated he doesn't have a good back and he is only 5'5 so he will probably never do any serious damage in the IFBB but you never know. I wish him well.

reminds me of lee priest when priest was that age.

james has a thicker and more mature look to his muscles than most kids his age - or even top amateurs. dont even want to guess about his drug usuage and when he started.

def. needs a new nickname. flex has already been taken.

The pic was taken Aug. 12th at a guest posing appearance(same as the pic that was first shown). Flex was three weeks outs at that point. He is on point to win his pro card this year! Best of luck bro!

i don't like how is abs point downwards? just is very distracting. Also his back is just not up to par with the rest of his body, im sure he will still get his pro card, cause he's well known etc.. I agree he would have a hard time getting his pro card here in the States. Im mean just compare him to Deckar who just won his pro card, you think lewis could be him? I don't think so!.. Lewis needs to compete around 220lbs to be a threat in the States..

just another lee priest with better calves- i think he has insane development for somebody that age and should try to capita;ize on that as much as possible - a threat in the ifbb - id say not for awhile- just look at david henry- he is 5 times better than this kid and still cannot even win a low level pro show.

Yeah that is Putnam, and he did put on some good size. I don't know if he is doing the Nationals this year but if he is, I'd look for him to take the light heavy class since he just took 2nd at the USA's.

Yeah he looks great. He was incredible at the USA's. If he dials it in he's a shoe-in to take the Nationals.

Looks good, especially the legs but he should learn how to apply his tan. His face is pink!

Here is another pic Andy. BTW... how are you Andy? Thanks for the nice comment. I haven't seen you at the West club in forever. You are correct... my back will be my focus point prior to next year. I will be training for more back width and detail. I hope to really make the improvements in that department. I will say that Flex online pics weren't the most flattering for anyone. As far as Flex... he is highly impressive! Good luck in Wales brother! My $ would be on Flex.;-)

why the hell do people compare him to Steve Kuclo or whatever...they are on totally different levels..OK Steve won teen and collegiate BUT Flex competed with men not 20somethings or older guys trophy hunting??

Kuclo or whatever is good for his age but Flex is only a few years older and is on a much better level...

Flex would look like Kuclo's Dad if he stood next to him on stage...

Flex just needs to listen to Milos, his tutuledge will work wonders . Milos is one of the only pros out there who has respect for the fans and the sport.

For sure. I noticed his right quad shot (in that first pic) looks like someone of old, but I can't remember who. His teardrop is amazingly long, which is a good thing if he can get it ripped all the way up.
