You think that's bad?  Last time I went to work out at Gold's Venice, there were two huge pro bodybuilders viciously making out in the locker room.  Here's a visual.  I walk in to get dressed into my typical gym attire and right as I’m making my way across the locker room, I see two huge pro bodybuilders, that were/are common names in our sport, in what appeared to be a typical rough-housing session where both men were slamming each other from locker to locker and just moaning in the process.  Little did I know that what was really going on was that both of these hardcore lifters where really just having an all-goes make out session.  I swear this was one of the most thrilling yet scariest things I have ever seen.  Afterwards, I figured that Gold's Venice was not fit for me to see to my bodybuilding needs and I solely visited with lubricant on hand to let off a few rounds of man yogurt.

Yeah, LA can be a difficult place to live in

However, remember Intenseone is from the OC

Most people from the OC have quite the disdain for LA

Yeah, LA can be a difficult place to live in

Why do you say that?
'Cause of the cost of living?

'Cause of the cost of living?

yes, cost of living is completely unreasonable

it is beyond ridiculous. hopefully that will improve as it seems real estate is coming back down to earth somewhat

also, it is overcrowded. the traffic can almost drive you crazy, which means you better live close to your job- but the housing expenses nearly make that prohibitive unless you make a lot of $

also, there is a lot ugliness- the homeless (I'm sympathetic to large extent, but it is disheartening to see them all the time) and pollution.

about two months back, i saw a homeless guy taking a shit in broad daylight near the intersection of Lincoln and Venice. WTF?!?!

Willie, is living in Los Angeles so bad that you regret it? I ask 'cause I would love to live there.

I could never train at Venice.

Does not look like a gym conducive at all to hardcore training.

It's not anymore... Metroflex, Arlington TX is the real deal :)

overall, no, but just be prepared

i enjoy the weather and all the things that you can do here

however, don't be naive if you move here. know that it is not all sunshine and glitter

having said that,i'm pondering  moving out of here within the next 5-10 yrs because of all the reasons i listed above, mainly the cost of living though and the fact that there are a lot of fake, trendy people here
