seriously, it always hurts when a friend of yours doesn't do well...

I helped prep a guy years ago who was a monster, everyone figured he'd clean up because he was so impressive in the gym etc.

He simply didn't have a stage physique though even if he had loads of muscle and 12 weeks wasn't gonna change what 12 years of misguided training had created. I tried to keep his expectations realistic but people only hear what they want to I guess.
