i told this story on my "new member" thread. They all answered and I had my pick of ten I liked 6' tall dark handsome men. I did 3 not-blind dates. I turned them all down. I could tell the stories...
The first one was half indian (asian) and half italian. he lied about his age and his height. I met him in Kendricks, my local. My mates started with him: Where are you from? I got upset and said how dare you, he's from Rajland, I'm from Lindaland and you're from Ireland. Raj said it's okay, i'm the multi coloured here and I'm used to it. But he didn't drink (he was driving) and it was the wrong place to be. Then Barney starts again: I'm a Paddy, what are you? (You have to hear this in English lingo, it's a direct hit racist joke> Paki.
I'm surprised he didn't hit anyone. So I walks him out the pub and he starts begging to take me home (even though I'd stipulated that was not an option on a first date). He goes: Oh, but I've driven all the way from Heathrow. I said goodnite.
