I remember reading about his death when i was 15-16 . I started crying even though i didnt know the guy in person (yeah call me gay whatever). I had only read a book of his and read about him online. I was so fascinated with the guy and his way of thinking and his writing, still am.

Also he was so cool and stylish.  ;D

Maxx... I shared many dinners with Mike and the gang at Ray's gym. While a didn't agree with Mikes training, I did enjoy speaking with him and yes it was a sad day when he passed.

Joey Tito... back your statement with some proof otherwise STFU.
and keep moving!

He's my favorite bodybuilder. A true inspirational figure in my life, who possessed both mind and muscle.

Its more like his mind was possessed....he was a loon! Nothing more then a nutcase.

No one cares what you think...

"Nothing more than a nutcase?" That man accomplished 1000 times more than you ever will, son. He had one of the best physiques of all time -- you, on the other hand, are just some homo on the internet. :-[

Mike was more complete than Arnold, the only thing Arnold had him on was biceps and a slight advantage on chest. Overall Mentzer had a better physique IMO.

Very nice clip where Mentzer speaks on nutrition.

YIP
Zack

...I also find this girls information on nutrition valid, and true.  And delivered in a scientific way!

However, that extreme HIT "work one set per bodypart once per month" bullshit is just plain dumb.  No wonder Mentzer turned into a colossal soft fatarse in his last days.  Anybody on that routine would.

Once a month.. ahahha.. I wonder what he's going to do with the rest of the days?
