The anthrax perps = terrorist(s).

I wonder how that guy got ahold of US military grade anthrax anyway.

Well, at least the white house staff all got Cipro delivered three weeks before the attacks.

How many monster coincidences do we have to witness before this stuff starts to smell?
I actually know the answer to that... About a year before 911, I'm watching nightline I think it was, and they find that we're running an anthrax lab in the middle of the southwest desert somewhere.  They confront the government on it and do a story because the lab is in violation of international treaties.  Get this, they say they were running the lab to understand how terrorists make anthrax Roll Eyes This wasn't even a small lab... Not just a few beakers or whatever in a trailer, this set up was to create anthrax in quantity, of course so that we could understand how terrorists would make it in quantity Tongue I think we know what the anthrax was probably used for.

what's the point of this thread?

so Armitage put it a little more strongly than most people would, but at that point in time, the American people (through Congress) would have signed off on it in a New York minute.

It's nice to see all the haters getting their thongs in a twist over this.

Yea, none of that changes the fact that it's an act of terrorism by definition... Signing off on it doesn't make it not so.  Kiss

Amendment XXIX

Even if the means and end are constitutional, please make sure you don't hurt the feelings of a head of state half-way around the world. We really want everyone to like us.

Also make sure when you declare war, you do it in a way that will pass muster w a bunch of message board retards.

Come to think of it, even Musharraf didn't term it "terrorism," but merely "rude."

still has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the deed matches the definition... If Musharraf was coerced with the threat of violence for political purposes, it by definition is an act of terrorism.   Sorry, I didn't make up the facts of this or the definition of terrorism.  It's not my fault they fit. No, but if pakistan did nothing but wake up one morning and eat breakfast, and they are served an ultimatum like that for no reason, how would you characterize this insistence of our from their viewpoint?

Poor, innocent Pakis . . . never did/aren't doing anything to merit an ultimatum from US.

Musharraf knew exactly what was at stake . . . that's why he elected not to get into the Afghanistan war on the wrong side. Smart guy . . . wish we had more of those here. But, I suspect, y'all are more entertaining.

Based upon what reason?  Just that your warloving ass likes to see ppl killed?

And the amazing thing is, as much as you seem to love war and I seem to hate it, it you and I were ever in a life/death situation, my glock would be out and firing upon the threat in about .5 seconds and I'd be shoving you out the door to remove us from the threat.  You'd likely freeze up.  People that just love to push war are like this.  They don't understand the severity of life/death situations, they don't understand the fear that people go thru in situations like that.  Makes me sick to my stomach to think that you would just shrug off the US bombing pakistan for no reason.

No.  But I know a lot of military people, LEO, and my own family has been involved in some violent situations.  And NONE of these people would so flippantly describe going to war with pakistan for no reason, and just swoon of the idea of war, as you do.

I know you don't fear or respect war, and you don't understand the value of a human life, much less tens of thousands of lives.  War is the LAST resort.  Anyone who doesn't know this has no real conceptualization of what war actually is.

And you said you're a 17 year old girl, right?

Are you doing the same?  You've told us you're a 17 year old girl, and implied you have very good firsthand knowldge of 3rd world living, right?

You're warmongering, publicly cheering on dropping bombs on anyone for any reason.  You're either very immature, very disconnected with the real horrors, of war, or both.
