Packed with all the size his frame can handle,will dry out and be 3 or 4 depending on gustavo,arm's and delt's are freaky from all angles,never a fan of his leg shape muscle roll's up from kneecap a little high.

Looks like Dexter didn't bring it this year.

I'm gonna guess he should be placed 5-6. But will probably be given 3-4, due to past glory.

Dex's physique isn't improving, it looks like he might just be hitting the downslope.

Or, he's saving it for the Arnold, which I doubt.

Doesn't matter though, IFBB is gonna give the Arnold to Phil Heath.

Raphael always had that aggressive look to him, and Michaelangelo always smiled and had his square shaped mouth open showing his teeth all the time...so its between those two turtles...im gion to go a mix of both those turtles

My opinion is that he will place 10th. He is small, it isn't supercut like in the past, and has no calves!

He looks bigger, but hard to tell shit when he's standing alone - put him next to D Charles if he out muscles him you know some improvements have been made. Plus with the writing all over those pics it's really hard to tell anything. It will be good to see him next to Charles or Melvin - he'll get dwarfed by the other guys.

He can only "tweak" his physique, fine-tune it, if you will. Look at all the bodybuilders that kept adding more muscle, just for the sake of it. They f up their physiques in the process. Flex Wheeler comes to mind, he maxed out at the 1998 Arnold, then tried to play Ronnie Coleman's game, and looked bad at 240 pounds. Ronnie Coleman as well, looked better at 250+ (1998 O) than now. Dorian Yates looked better at 245-250.

I agree Dex needs more calves...but if he had that, would you still complain?

What is not noticed, is that like Shawn Ray, Dex consistantly comes in shape, where others like Dennis James, Melvin Anthony, and others are hit or miss. That of course effects one's placing, but most importantly you wallet and plate.

And Dex is probably not hurting in those departments.

It's not like he is going to win. Stay good enough for $60-$90K.  Obviously...the O is a cheque for him.  Show time will be at the Arnold when he goes up against Mr. I'm 6-0 in 4yrs.  Let us see how the judges call that one.
