great things his friends have said about him, i’m sure he was a good guy and loved by friends and family, but rec drugs kill, no doubt about it, fentynal is a very dangerous pain killer and has been killing many addicts in many cities, just because you are spiritual doesn’t mean drugs can’t creep into your life and kill you

Erik had indeed a heart of gold! And yes he at one time had very bad drug problems and i do not know if he ever got over those or do not care now! I have not spoken to him for a few yrs. But he will be missed and he was truly amazing and i love you brother, see you on the other side “baby”! R.I.P.

Anyone that knew Erik, knows he loved everyone he met. He had a heart of gold. I have so much to say about him I wouldn’t know were to start. He was the love of my life and soul mate. I am so blessed that he remained in my life. Though we divorced, he was still my best friend. He was a great man. no matter what anyone says.. anyone that truly knew him knows what a honest and loyel man he was. A part of me is missing. He was one of the biggest part in my life.. I will forever love him and I will see him in another life…..

Erik was a friend of mine from 1999 until we lost contact when he left Colorado.

He was a wonderful friend with a big heart and the world has lost one of the great ones.

Erick was a wonderful man, friend, worker and trainer. Our sons were the ones who got to meet Erik first at an assembly at Walnut School in Rock Springs, Wy. We moved to Casper after that, and my husband became Nabors Drilling HR Coordinator. One after noon my husband called me and asked if the boys and I would come into town and I said sure. So we loaded up in the car and drove to Casper, well to are suprise he had Erik sitting in his office, what a great honor in getting to meet this man. After that he became a dear friend of the family. He helped me get into a work out routine, and it worked better than anything I ever did. Erik was very health conscious, and was always talking about staying in shape and how easy it was to do. Wacey and Wyatt though he was the coolest thing that walked on earth. I don’t believe anything that is being said about Erik and I can’t believe what I hearing about him. He loved God, his family and friend and life in general. I know that this family will truly miss him. So even though we didn’t get to say goodbye, I know he is in a better place and one day we will all get to see him again. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the family. If there is anything we can help out with, please let us know. Love Shannon and Jean Johnson, and Wacey and Wyatt Walters.

Erik was a wonderful friend-I have been going through all of these websites reading the lies and rumors about him using recreational drugs, meth etc. My husband Tony and I spent many hours and alot of time with Erik and Mica- his fiance- and I can assure you that these rumors are not true. He was a wonderful support system, a positive, energetic, faithful and probably one of the most giving and loving friends that anyone could ask for. He achieved so much in his life and had to deal with the people that are writing these rumors in life and now in death as well. It is very hurtful to those who really knew and loved him. Erik- once again- you were worth your weight in gold. We love you- Tony, Krissy, Maddy and Dakota

I had a opportunity to travel and share a room with Erik in Venice Ca. when a mutual friend of ours did the Ironman in Culver City several years ago. That is where we developed our friendship. We had a lot of good times together, training at Harry’s Colorado Pro Gym, eating and…..well eating some more. He will be missed tremendously. It’s a shame I we didn’t keep in touch and I’m sorry I didn’t have an opportunity to say goodbye.

i only met Erik about 8 months ago. he was an amazing bodybuilder, but he was even a better friend and had a heart of gold. he was my personal trainer and helped me do several bodybuilding shows. he always went way out of his way, not only to help me, but everyone that knew him. he was constantly busy helping others and had a very promising future. one thing i really liked about Erik, is that he never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was a friend one could trust with anything. he was a true man of his word. he saw potential in people that not even they themselves could see. Erik was very soft spoken and was anything but the stereo- typical bodybuilder. he never came across as egotistical, or cocky. he was so knowledgeable about the human body, more than anyone i’ve ever met in my 25 years of bodybuilding. he was also a very spiritual person and that could be seen by anyone that knew him. i find it a terrible thing for people to speculate how he passed. if i had only one day to spend with a friend, i would choose Erik. he was always so positive, and one couldnt ask for a better friend. Erik, was a first class individual, like none ive met before. Erik had me read a book called, The Four Agreements. this book was, Erik. the next time i read it, i know i will think about nothing but, Erik and who he was and how he lived. Erik will be an inspiration to me for as long as i live. ill never train again without hearing him encouraging me, as well as knowing now because of Erik, that the only limits i have are the one’s i place on myself. i will miss him as a brother and carry him in my thoughts everyday. to his family and all that knew him, i share in your loss. his bodybuilding accomplishments were nothing compared to the friendships he made and the lives he changed……..

My sypathy goes out to the family of Erik Fromm. I was a friend of Erik’s in Colorado from 1998-2002 until I moved to Las Vegas & now reside in Scottsdale, AZ. I dated Craig Heber, Erik’s Best man at his wedding.
Erik was a talented, artistic, fun-loving person who will be greatly missed. He was as beautiful on the inside as his physique was on the outside. His heart was as big as his quads…& we all know they were enormous!!!
I will cherish the memories of training with him at Harry’s Pro Gym. He will always remain a superstar!
