Wow,

I agree with you in principle. However, even you must agree that we don’t have infinite resources to enforce all of our laws. For that reason, our resources should be focused on our most important problems.

What some guy who hits a ball over a fence or stands on stage mostly naked injects into their ass is FAR from our most pressing crime related issue.

How about drunk driving / alcohol related deaths and crimes? How about Crack or Meth related crime?

I’m not saying “breaking the law is okay”. However, I think your focus and energy is in completely the wrong place.

You are 100% right, we should crack down on all sports players that use drugs. They are an embarrassment to the sport and don’t deserve to play. If you need to take steroids to play any sport you don’t deserve to play. You didn’t see babe ruth or any of the greats taking drugs to make themselves look better. Bodybuilders female and male are beings that are insecure with themselves and look to make them self better via drugs which are illegal. What is wrong with me is that its pathetic on how society can actually look at a bunch of drug addicts on stage and clap because one has bigger arms than the other, or who’s ass is tighter. Crack down on the people on stage and you will get the suppliers. The arnold classic is a great place to start.

Wooo – breaking the law by using steroids. I guess we should crack down on all the football players, baseball players, basketball players, hockey players that use steroid. Oopps! That means over 50% of them are breaking the law. Hell. Lets crack down on everyone that runs doesnt stop at a full stop at a stop sign. WTF is wrong with you.

Crack addicts on the street ruin themselves and other people. Steroid users dont even hurt themselves. Even alcohol abuse kills more people, especially if they get in a car.

I appluad the discipline of these competitors.

What you fail to see is that they are using illegal drugs and that is the bottom line. I really hope that the feds and local agencies do crack down on they because to be honest watching drug users on stage is the same as looking at a crack addict on the streets of new york. Bottom line is they are breaking the law and something must be done about this.

We praise the hard work these people do to become more than they (and we) can become in the area of bodybuilding. It is impressive.

As far as the feds cracking down on these “drug dealers and users”, I hope we can agree that the “feds” would be better off “cracking down” on the people supplying and using drugs like Meth, Crack, etc. that account for massive health-care costs, crimes and death in our society.

When bodybuilding drugs begin to actually have *any* measurable effect on anyone outside those choosing to use them, “the feds” should do something. Until then, it is time-wasting hypocrisy.
