Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan sentenced
Musclephone alert came through as soon as the new came out. Craig Titus was sentenced to 21-55 years. Kelly Ryan was sentenced 6-26 years in prison.
Craig Titus pleaded guilty on May 30 to second-degree murder, kidnapping and arson. Kelly Ryan pleaded guilty to arson and Nevada’s equivalent of no contest to battery with a deadly weapon.
According the sources, Kelly read a statement, and could not stop crying. Then Craig came up, said he was sorry, and called himself a coward for his acts, and apoligized.
Then Maura James came up, and begged the judge for the maximum sentence, and asked for a gag order on Craig and Kelly.
The judge decided not to impose a gag order, then procedeed to lecture Craig and Kelly, and then he threw the book at them, and gave them whatever he could.
Kelly’s sentence of 6 to 26 years means that in 6 years, she will be eligible for parole, although she has served close to 3 years, with a maximum of 26 years she can spend in jail. Craig’’s sentence of 21 to 51 years means that in 21 years, he will be eligible for parole in 21 years, less time served already.
This is outstanding. See what steroids and drugs do. It is too bad that he didnt get life as he sucked anyway. Perhaps it was all the built up anger of being a second class bodybuilder. Good riddens.

He is a piece of shit an he is still alive they should have gave him the death sentence if that was a black man they would have but since he is white they back off the is f-up because prison he really can do what he like to do an that is sleep, eat and workout an pay no bill except the tax payers.
I will agree, Steroids and drugs can and will ruin your life…………with that said, these 2 individuals consiously made the decision to do this, drugs didn’t make this decision, they did and knew what they were doing taboot……….I also agree they should rott for this, and it truely upsets me that she can possibly get out in 6 yrs……..IMO she and Titus should have recieved nothing less than 25 yrs, having to pull the entire 25 before they are eligible for parole…………..the max would have been even better.
Sometimes people can be chasing a dream of fame and fortune, and not even see they are stepping over people along the way. I use to be a competitive fitness competitor and met Kelly Ryan while competing in Fitness America. She was genuine and natural and was one of those competitors that ws easy to like. She would give out all kinds of tips to the newer competitors so she seemed so strong . . . she was my idol — but apparently had poor self esteem and married Craid Titus for all the wrong reasons . . . she was chasing the opportunity to be accepted by him and the bodybuilding industry. How sad for poor Melissa James that she got mixed up in this mess. I truly believe God will forgive Craig and Kelly . . . and by the looks of Kelly in the court room, she really is a person with remorse — recognizing that the things she did for love got someone else killed. Lord, have mercy on their souls and please be with the James family as they try to get on with their lives.
