2010 Olympia Weekend After Party

From Jason Dhir –> At 11pm on Saturday night September 25th, history will be made… The doors to HAZE nightclub will open to hold the first ever Official Olympia Party. The Olympia weekend has set the standard for the industries trade shows/competitions bringing in Hollywood celebrities, over the top entertainment and hundreds of pro athletes and models from around the globe. Hence, in order to bring a MEGA-Party such as this to Vegas (similar to what I do annually every March in Columbus, Ohio), there is ultimately only one site on the Vegas strip that can contain this Massive Mastodon of Mega and that is at HAZE Night club located at Aria Hotel/Resort.
This will be a new standard in Olympia After-Parties and is held at one next level location. I am not talking about a wine and cheese affair at a hotel welcoming room nor a half assed hot or not after party. I am talking an upper echelon, pinch me I am dreaming, reality check party… so fasten your seatbelts

I’d like to thank FLEX, Muscle & Fitness and ESPN for making this Big Kid’s dream come true!”
Added Jackson, “It’s awesome, man. I can’t even tell you how cool this feels. I’m a sports fanatic, so anything we talk about, I’m down. I’m ready to rock!”

Phil Heath was in town here in Woodland Hills, California, where he was working on some pictures and videos featuring Phil and Kai Greene, for the upcoming Olympia and Flex Magazine. What garnered everyone’s attention is that Phil was wearing a Muscletech T-shirt and not the usual Met-Rx. Well, it was confirmed that Phil did sign a supplement contract deal with Muscletech, and now is representing them. 2010 NPC USAs – more pros cards, new host hotel
Something tells me that the 2010 NPC USA’s are going to be the biggest and best ever. This year, the NPC USA’s will award 4 IFBB pro cards to the Men’s Bodybuilders and 2 IFBB pro cards to the Women’s Bodybuilders. Additionally, there will be 6 IFBB pro cards each for both the Figure and Bikini divisions. The event hotel for this years event has also changed, to the Embassy Suites – Convention Center, at 3600 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here is the latest flyer for the NPC USAs.

Muscletech is title sponsor for Muscle Beach 2010
Joe Wheatley Productions is proud to announce that MuscleTech will be the Title Sponsor for all 3 shows this summer, The Muscle Beach International Classic & Armed Forces Championship (Memorial Day), Mr. & Ms. Muscle Beach (July 4th) and the Muscle Beach Championship (Labor Day).

Beginning with the Memorial Day contest, it will be open to all amateur athletes and active, reserve and retired members of the Armed Forces. This competition celebrates and acknowledges health and fitness and recognizes the contributions of the members of the Armed Forces to the United States.
Featured that day is a flyover from a C-17 Globemaster stationed at March AFB. Opening remarks from a high ranking Officer from Los Angeles AFB, an induction ceremony of new recruits, and static equipment displays are also highlighted at the event.
The flyover is extremely moving. I’d like to share the following story. Three years ago as the C-17 roared overhead when the National Anthem reached it’s crescendo, Lonnie Teper, “writer extraordinaire” for Iron Man Magazine stood next to me. I noticed a tear trickling down his cheek. I asked him if he was okay. He sheepishly replied, “Yeah, I ah got some suntan lotion in my eye”. I just smiled! They come in “Low, Slow, & Dirty” at about a thousand feet. If you aren’t doing anything on Memorial Day, it’s truly a sight to behold.
Representatives from the Health and Fitness Industry – Bodybuilding.com, Iron Man Magazine, Weider International, “TheOfficial Energy Shot of Muscle Beach”- AllDay Energy, House of Pain, Vitamin Water, ProFight, Gaspari Nutrition, Eric The Trainer, Ivanko, Global Rainfall and many others will be on site to provide education, samples and demonstrations of the most recent and advanced equipment and products that support and facilitate a healthy lifestyle.

2010 Arnold Classic Weekend Parties
Each year in Columbus, Ohio, right after the Arnold Classic Pro Bodybuilding event, parties are usually held around town. One of them is the official Arnold Classic After Party, with Arnold himself attending the event, and another is the Jason Dhir Mega-Party Charity After Bash. Both are great parties, and I have a great time at both of them. Here is the information on the parties.

The Arnold Party With The Pros will once again be the place to be as the world’s top professionals in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, strongman and others celebrate deep into the night at the Official After-Party for the Arnold Classic.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will also make an appearance at the can’t-miss event of the weekend.
The Arnold Party With The Pros will be held from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 6 – immediately following the Arnold Classic — at the LC Pavilion and neighboring A&R Music Bar and The Basement on Neil Avenue in the Arena District.
The Party With The Pros will be a long night of fun, with drinks, dancing, music, star-gazing and world-class entertainment. Top celebrities who annually attend the Arnold Sports Festival will join the leading professional athletes at the party.
The theme of this year’s Party With the Pros will be “Cirque-Us,” with a stunning lineup of live performers, including acrobats, amazing dancers, fire eaters and live musicians. Acts include The Amazing Christopher, Jesse De La Pena (Chicago’s premier DJ), DJ James ‘Big Daddy’ Moore, Highjinks and many more.
Free shuttle buses will take those attending the Arnold Classic directly to the LC Pavilion, 405 Neil Ave. across from Nationwide Arena.
Arnold Party with the Pros tickets are $25 each for general admission and are included with VIP Tickets which cost $350.

Those of you in Columbus on March 6, 2010 will want to check out this Charity After-Bash. It’s without question the fitness industry’s baddest party just as the flyer claims. The master promoter, Jason Dhir is once again holding the biggest after-party in the biz. I’ve attended this party every year since its inception and it gets bigger and better every year. Jason always brings in the top fitness stars and also “mainstream” celebrities.
This year the party will be held at BoMA Niteclub 583, E. Broad St., Downtown Columbus. Doors open at 10pm. To pre-purchase tickets or for more info visit groovetickets.com or jasondhir.com. Check back for a schedule of events.
Hardbody.com and Getbig.com is a proud sponsor and will be there covering all the action.
Jay Cutler Seminar at the Los Angeles Fitness Expo
This Saturday and Sunday, January 23rd and 24th, the Los Angeles Fit Expo is going to be the place to be, with many NPC, IFBB and other MMA competitors at various booths and checking out the action at the L.A. Convention Center. One of the highlights that I am looking forward to is the current IFBB Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, who is going to take the main performance stage on Sunday at 2pm for a Q&A Seminar. This event is a great way to see what Jay has been up to, and how he won back the Mr. Olympia title when very few people thought he would. See you there.
