  • Who is Hany Rambod?

Hany Rambod is a nutritionist and advisor to various bodybuilding and fitness athletes, including this year's NPC USA competitors Chris Cook, Mike Dragna, and Alan Grimes. Last year, he helped Idrise Ward-El (who won the 2002 NPC USA overall), and two years ago, he helped Quincy Taylor (who won the 2001 NPC USA overall). Needless to say, this guy has a good track record. He also has worked with Melvin Anthony in the past, helping him come into shape for the 2003 IFBB Ironman.

Hany went to UC Santa Barbara, and has a degree in biochemistry, as well as consulted as a personal trainer. Hany, with his athletes, tries to be as objective as possible in helping them out.

  • Muscular Development & Hany Rambod

The news that Hany signed to write a monthly article for Muscular Development in the early weeks of August amazed a number of people who have seen the debate between Hany & MD. It started with an article titled 'Who the Fuck is Hany Rambod' accusing Hany of various things, along with Melvin Anthony a few months back, which escalated into a number of articles and bulletin board discussions over it. Until the news broke that Hany is writing for MD, many people thought that these two were at war, or worse, that Hany was suing MD over issues.

Steve (MD's owner) and Hany talked things out, straightened out the details, and a partnership was born. Congratulations. It will be interesting to hear in upcoming articles on Hany's nutritionist methods with Mike Dragna, Chris Cook and more...
