Did not take many shots as the NPC Tournament of Champions this year, as I wound up talking to many different, and just enjoying the evening being a spectator. However, here are some misc shots.
Idrise Ward-El, sponsored by Muscletech, was the guest poser of the evening and the crowd was quite pleased. Here he is with Danny Samaniego, whom he helped train for the show, who came in 3rd in the Light Heavyweights, and flew down from El Paso, Texas just for the show. Oh, Idrise want everybody to know that he will be training for the 2004 Spring shows, and that he will be much better prepared to take on the big guys.
Richard Jones, one of our newest pros, and just recently signed with Weider, was there taking in the competitions, and is very exciting on his first trip outside of the United States to Ireland, for Shawn Ray's Muscle Camp there in November. Richard's first pro show will be the 2004 Night of Champions.
Roland Kickinger was in the house, coming to say hello. Since his television series 'Son of the Beach' was cancelled, he has been working on various projects, and just having a good time. Here he is with one of the helpers at the show, Mary Jane.
Derik Farnsworth, sponsored by AST Sports Science, and Pete Cicconne, with Prolab, also enjoyed the show. We all had a good time talking about various topics, including if it is possible for a pro or any bodybuilding competitor to take in 10,000 calories a day for more than a few days like some people have claimed. Derik is one of my favorite Getbig.com fans, as he met his wife Gina in the chat room on the site.
Here is Eric Clark, and his girlfriend, Esther, who will be competing in the NPC Ironman/Ironmaiden later on this year in the figure division. Eric was at the DNA Sports Nutrition booth, helping us out, and reads Getbig.com whenever he can.
Another fan of Getbig.com, and Max Muscle Corp employee, Eddie is pictured here with his girlfriend, whose baby boy is due in December. Eddie checks up on Getbig.com almost every day to see what is the latest.
