Melissa's goal was to inspire children and young adults to reach their full potential in the fulfillment of their dream in the dancing profession. From preschool to high school age she devoted herself to each and every one with patience and determination. It is our desire that her dream live on in the lives of others who desire to attain a dancing career.
At Gulf Coast Community College it is our wish that the Melissa Ann James Memorial Scholarship provide the opportunity for others to fulfill their dreams and goals in the field of performing arts with the emphasis on dance.
