  • What's up for the first show? IFBB rookie sensation Phil Heath visits with us compliments of Weider Publications. Fresh off is pro debut a the Colorado Pro, we'll hear first hand what it was like competing in his first pro show and what's in store ahead with him.

    And a Colorado Pro Show recap. We'll break down the Colorado Pro show and the placings. IFBB Judge Steve Weinberger joins us to talk about the judging at the show. We'll also take a look ahead at the New York Pro show that will take place on May 20, 2006 in New York City.

    The Muscle Radio host is Larry Pepe. Larry Pepe has a true passion for bodybuilding and has been involved in the sport on virtually every level. Larry is the is the author of “The Precontest Bible”, a 475-page training, nutritional and supplementation book that many top IFBB pros have called the best bodybuilding book ever written.

    He has been a senior writer for Musclemag International for five years and also writes for the NPC News, Athletic Extreme Lifestyles and Healthsmart Today. He has interviewed every top athlete in bodybuilding, including Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates, Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Shawn Ray, Lenda Murray, Gustavo Badell, Victor Martinez, Chris Cormier and many more too numerous to mention. Larry has been an NPC National Judge for over ten years.

    Larry was named one of the top trainers in the United States by Men’s Fitness Magazine and has worked with many well known names in the bodybuilding and fitness industry on their training and nutritional programs including IFBB pro Troy Alves and top fitness model Frank Sepe. While he no longer works in that capacity, he continues to advise many IFBB pros with regard to their contest, career and business decisions.
