shoulder routine
« on: December 06, 2006, 03:33:51 PM »
hey everyone
how is this shoulder routine? I got this routine from an article that talks about the  MR.O's best bodypars and how they train them. it seems like all them hit shoulders with this routine.

seated military press  2 werm up  3 working
DB press 1 feel set  3 working
side laterals 3 working
bent raise 3 working
upright rows 3 working

I like more of a high volume trainer..... I'm tring to  hit all the shoulders mass builders..

so what do you guys think??

I know soreness in muscles the day/days after training isnt always a growth indicator, but for the 1st time ever imanaged to get my shoulders sore (especially lateral head), byt cable laterals (pausing at top of rep, somethig i cant do with db's), then DB press (which i might change to BB/machine).
Felt awesome.

But if ur a higher volume advocate i think ur covering all the basis and arent working them with too much volume, so go for it!!

id do less exersizes personally if u wanted more sets id do something like this

dumbell or barbell presses 2 warm ups 4 work sets
side raises or one arm   4 sets
standing or inclined rear raises 4sets
dumbell or barbell shrugs 4sets

id do the same routine personally with fewer sets..

Looks like a good routine, however I am usually too worn out to do bb presses and DB presses right after.

Yeah, lose the db or bb presses, no need to do both.
