for me, its seasons 1-3 of the Classic series "Soap"

here is a classic slapstick scene involving Chuck and Bob (the dummy) and Jodie (played by Billy Crystal, one of the first openly gay characters on tv)

Sunny in Philly

Great show indeed. Just re-watched the best episodes on Netflix. Season 8 was really good. That show never lost steam even after all these years.

All in The Family

Curb Your Enthusiasm

The early seasons of The Drew Carey show were good too.

Those are my all time.

--------------

Britcoms I liked -

Coupling

The Thin Blue Line

Absolute Power

---------------

Orange is The New Black is decent.

Lucky Louie was good too.

Seinfeld and Curb.

Yes.

If we're going to be formula nazis and stick to awful 80s, I remember Mad About You as a good blend of laughs, observations, and saccharin moments.  Can't believe no mentions.

Seinfeld

A close third is Arrested Development.  I watched it from the start and it is pure genius.

End of Thread.

If I am being totally honest

Saved by the Bell

90210 ( The original, not the shit on CW now)

These two shows shaped my childhood through highschool.  I still quote stuff from both stores.  It's hard to relate to TV but with these two shows I did.

Completely agree. The Office was brilliant, too.

I'm looking or a new sitcom to watch. I just finished all of Curb Your Enthusiasm and before that I had just finished It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Two shows I would have never watched if it wasn't for this forum actually.  :D

Sunny in Philly is my favorite of all time now.

Right now I'm currently finishing up FRIENDS...I'm on season nine of ten....and it's awesome as well.

So I'm going to need a new one to start up.

I don't need suggestions for dramas...I'm currently watching Deadwood (great) and have a ways to go before I need a new drama.

I like watching one sitcom and one drama.

I was thinking Entourage but would love some more suggestions.

Name your top two...give a girl some ideas!

Hmmm. Can't name just 2. Here's my top 5:

Cheers
Night Court
Seinfeld
Wonder Years
Family Ties

Deadwood was excellent, but the final season never got a real ending cuz it got cancelled or something.
The amount of "fuck" and "cu#t" used was astonishing.  Some nice full bush who-ares in almost every episode  ;D.
The Office is a sure bet for lolz.
Seinfeld was great too
Night Court.  Man I have not watched that show since i was a kid.  Funny shit.
