And considering the direction they've taken over the past several decades, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

::)  He did not seek it and took the job reluctantly.  He's always maintained his family comes first and that's the main reason he's not seeking re-election.

The CBO announced we are on track to reach a trillion dollar budget deficit 2 years earlier than expected so I assume Ryan has achieved all his goals in Congress and now wants to focus on bankrupting his family

::)  He did not seek it and took the job reluctantly.  He's always maintained his family comes first and that's the main reason he's not seeking re-election.

Im sure the fake president had nothing to do with it ::)

Sure, that's the real reason.  He's a piece of shit just like Trump and all the other Republicans.   Doesn't matter because they're all fucked when the midterms roll around, thanks to your hero Donnie.

I was glad when he took over as Speaker and I'm glad he is stepping aside.  I hope they pick someone who will at least try to reign in government spending and follow through on those spineless Republicans' promise to fully repeal Obamacare.

The Republicans control to some degree all 3 branches of government and what we are getting is bloated omnibus spending bills, and threats of gun control legislation.

Trump is doing a fantastic job but it's hard to win when the Republican legislature is determined to lose.

There's a handful of solid Republicans that I respect.  Most of them are shit and they are ignoring the will of the people that elected them.

Didn't the dude from Oklahoma, hire his two friends from Oklahoma, then ask for a ridiculous raise for them, and when turned down, circumvent the process and go ahead and give them the huge raise anyway? Oh wait., you were saying something about draining the swamp
