Here are the bodies.

Italian newspaper, 9th february: 1,5 page of obituaries.

Same newspaper, 13th march: 10 pages of obituaries.

The Oregonian which is published daily regularly has 2 to 3 pages of obits. Oregon's total population is 4.7 million.

I think the point here is the change in numbers.

If one area, regardless of number of people, go from 2 deaths to 10 deaths then that's bad news.

So you think it's a coincidence that in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak the newspaper goes from 1,5 pages of obituaries to 10 pages?

My thoughts exactly.  Maybe since Italy is in a complete lockdown, the newspaper is only running once a week.  Or, maybe a normal day is 7 pages, and Feb 9th just happened to be an extraordinarily light day.  To many variables to get excited about a viral video.

I heard from a friend in Italy yesterday,  he says shit is serious out there, a lot of the doctors, nurses, emts,  are dying from the virus catching it from working around and caring for people with Covid19. These are not old people dying some as young as 40 years old.
