I watched Black Phone the other day, and it was pretty damn good as well!

Enjoyed black phone, was decent but lacking something to make it really great. Maybe the lack of backstory to the killer. Also although Hawk played it well the character wasn't really really scary enough.

the killer isn't supposed to have a backstory it's scarier the more mysterious he is, they ruined michael myers by giving him a backstory

though i agree i enjoyed black phone, but it was lacking something to make it really great, very good overall

i also recently watched the following

antlers - pretty good

goodnight mommy 2014 and 2022 - both were great but i preferred 2022, it seemed more mysterious and creepy

near dark -  why is this always ranked so high on vampire movie lists?  it's ok at best, ign had it ranked higher than the lost boys which is a perfect movie wtf

hellraiser 2 - i can't get into these movies, they don't show the cenobites enough and i'm not going to waste my time watching the new one with the female pinhead

While not a horror movie, I watched Day Shift yesterday.  Foxx, DeFranco, Snoop and some more....   bit funny at times but overall a great movie for laughs.

Doing ok brother just plodding on with things doing as docs say and trying best to be positive till I find out extent of things from consultant when I see him next month. I’ve sort of let it get in my head as notice out of breath now a lot when I wasn’t at all before that fat bitch said I had heart failure and I read up on it so think it’s just mental as it’s random and not related to effort expended.
