"Hopping on gear" is not only about that - few simple steps could save you time/mistakes & pain 97% of people on this forum, and the rest of the injecting population did do/& will do when starting.
1. You need to start your gear LEAN. Sub 9%. That will determine everything.
2. You want as little as possivle variables. One compund at a time.
3. You should not become to occupied with hormones and the fun about them. Find what works, and then do that for years like you are forst gump. That actually is bodybuilding.

In depth
1. Look - gear makes you big - it pushes what you have on the "outside" - it blows you up like a baloon, not as extrem - but somewhat like that. If your a fatzo - you become a bigger fatzo with no real muscleshape. If you are a lean natty who has all the muscles in the right place - but are a skinny gym rat - then you take gear and suddenly you have all the muscles on the right place & your big and pumpt - in a span of 3-6 months!
2. 350mg test/ injecting more often is the best. But try to atleast do it in three shots m/w/f. Then you DO Bloods. Find you sweetspot with e2 - most lifters including me did not do that for years - and we suffered, belive me. For no reason, thats the sad part.
3. Even the Biggest dudes sometimes go simple - for e.g an IFBB pro often could and does something like that. 1.5g Primo, 1.5g Test, 10iu HGH, shitload of SLIN. Thats a ton, but it simple. Building muscle is not a rave party - it is repetetive - year long work. Not everybody likes it. I woud not love to do that myself for 20yrs I have other intrests (and no superior genetics, lol) ;just so you know - buidling a great physiq is repeptive as FCK.

After you got you perfect test/e2 ratio - and gained a shitton ideally - you could consider stacking.
Mast is lovely when hairs will stay.
Bolde is lovely if works.
Npp is what a lot of fellas trust. There is only so much hormones you want to use anyways, first 3 steps are the most important. And yes Training/Nutrtion DO make a HUGE difference. Its somewhat 33%/33%33% each. Not on the spot, but all important.
