Inverted and Three point Push-ups
« on: September 15, 2008, 11:33:45 AM »
I had gone online to Men's Workout.com (do not buy nor look thru the magazine...the pics, the layout---you will be looked on as gay), and they had a guy doing inverted and Three point push ups. For those of you who don't know, inverted push ups are just push-ups with your fingers facing inwards towards one another. Three point push ups are when you have your hands together like two cars passing one another. Three point push ups are extremely had to do for reps, and get the lateral head of your tris pumped, and that "knotty", feeling gets in your tris.

Anybody try this? i use these after a doing tri, and especially after doing dips.

I like both of these. The finger pushup gets a little scary sometimes.

Ive been doin the "Rocky" style for awhile. Its all in the timing and the 'tripod' leg position. I never feel like pushups do much for size...even though they seem to help retain what you got. I think they can be useful when travelling and when gyms are distant.
