Should be interesting, but I think the debate centers around whether it is fair for someone who is 205 pounds not able to compete in two contests, and gets a chance to get some prize money twice.
Also, will it bring in more ticket sales to the promoter, or will ticket sales be the same?
I think perhaps the debate might be looking at it from a promoters view, and also an athlete over 202 pounds than an athlete under 202 pounds.
Looking forward to the discussion between two masters of discussion... LT vs. LP. Teper vs. Pepe. Both long time in the bodybuilding industry.

Hearing Strydom on the radio was cool. Good guest. He said they paid him 1 million dollars over 3 years to leave the IFBB and go to the WBF. Thats a pretty good amount of cash for 20 years ago. I bet any of todays guys would take that deal and run.

Gary had plugs put in about five years ago, they didn't take.
This new round of plugs is looking to be more successful.

If I remember correctly from the radio show on Monday, they said that Gary competed in 22 pro shows back in the late 80's and 90's,
and he got 1st or 2nd in 18 of them.

I've never spoken with him. However, just from watching him interact with others, he seems pretty cordial. Every time I've seen him work out, he is doing some type of machine work with moderate to heavy weight
