Last time i been to TJ was about 8 years ago stayed a weekend over at Rosarito .... From what i heard the cops there have stop getting pay checks from the Gov. and Are robbing tourist left and right.
3 stories i've heard recently were
1. Friend was parting in Rosarito and stopped at a check point, the saw he was american and searched his car found a Weed pipe, hustled $150 out of him and let him drive off, didnt even take his pipe way, i guess they figured they would sweat him again on the way back if he still had it
2. My bros inlaws were out there for a wedding older couple 60 yrs old , got harrassed by the cops at a check point too didnt get anything from them, but they said they were threatened and would never go back to TJ
3. Co-workers parents went to TJ stopped to get some food at gas station, 10min later their SUV was gone... Immigration called them 2 days later that they recovered their SUV and a lady was using it to smuggle people over the boarder

Never met Mr. Ramirez, nor do I know who he is....
I'm sure there is much I could have helped....had anyone contacted me, or inquired. To this date, I have heard from no one related to this show...
I am, however, hosting the Phoenix Pro for the second year in a row....coming up this weekend. Hope to see everyone there!!

wow just wow never heard of the President of IFBB Mexico who just happens to be running the IFBB Tijuana International Pro show Sept 9-11 2011 with the 1st 3 places all going to the IFBB Olympia but I guess if you are not getting paid to MC that show you couldn't give a shit??

LOL...there are 100's of countries in the IFBB...and equally, 100's of respective presidents.
How and why would I know of this one?
There is ONE IFBB Pro League Athletes Representative...I'm sure If they needed or wanted my assistance, they would have contacted me...as many others have done.

IFBB and the Mexican Federation all competitors to be registered by sept 9 pre judging sept 10 from 12noon to 2pm show time 6pm till 10pm.
Total prize money $38000 + 3 Qualify to the Mr Olympia
Take the Otay Mesa Rd from the 805 all the way to the 125 past De Las Bellas Artes into Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Campus Tijuana.
Competitors staying at the Fiesta Inn Otay Hotel.
I am sure Mr Luis Ramirez President AEFFBC will fill in any gaps.
Just Don't prepare food in hotel rooms big trouble.
