Can't believe you guys are trashing him. Anytime i was on vacation, beach, or coastal area, i couldnt get into relax mode without some Jimmy Buffet. He made tropical beach ocean music. He never switched his game because of what someone said. He produced music for people to relax too...thats why he was billionaire.
I wish i had met the guy honestly and hung out with him. I did go into his Cheeseburger In Paradise restaurant with my boyfriend Jason at the timrwhen they were still open. The burger was pretty good...not as good as the one i get at Ruth Chris but good. The beer was ice cold in a frosted pitcher , i dont remember if it was Budweiser or a Corona we had. The whole place looked a lot like the Tiki place in Goodfellas and course they were playing Jimmy Buffett. I think it failed because of the name...people prob thought they just served cheeseburgers but Margritaville is oretty awesome
