Palestinians: Netanyahu peace outline unacceptable ("declaration of war...")
Yahoo! News / The Associated Press ^ | May 24, 2011 | Mohammed Daraghmeh

RAMALLAH, West Bank – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's parameters for a peace deal, outlined in a speech to the U.S. Congress on Tuesday, fell far short of what is needed to resume negotiations, Palestinian officials said.

Nabil Shaath, an aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said Netanyahu's insistence on keeping key parts of the territories the Palestinians want for their state is a "declaration of war against the Palestinians."

Israeli settlers, the Islamic militant Hamas and Netanyahu's moderate parliamentary opposition also expressed criticism.....

Netanyahu is a brilliant speaker and a dynamic leader, in a democratic state that allows debates, arguements and freedoms of technology and religion.  However, no where else in that region would you have that.  All debates aside, until you have someone who really wants to have peace and not the destruction of Isreal, forget about any agreements. Not going to happen until the mainstream people will rise above the fear of Hamas.

I don't support Hamas either they are a dead end, if Palestine would just kick them out and get somebody who is leveled headed and not crazy in, but they need to get land back as well.  Just Hamas is a dead end.

Cenk Uygur breaks down Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's appearance in the U.S. Congress, Netanyahu's speech and the reaction from our congress is discussed.

Proof America is 100% Zionist owned. Dems and repubes both falling all over themselves in applause for Benji.  ::)

No surprise here...no comment I don't want to get banned...

Excellent analysis by the young Turk.  It's quite sickening how much we let them just do what they want and foot the bill for it.

Love listening to this idiot, who once again doesnt know crap.  But hey, since people spew out whatever for years, such is life.

Quote
Every reasonable person believes Israel’s right to exist...

This guy is a pure idiot.  No, Hamas does not - and calls for the utter descruction of Israel.  Simple as that.  If Hamas comes out and says 'We recognize Israel's right to exist', wow - then perhaps some reasonable discussion will start.

Quote
1967 lines - occupation...

Get out of your head already - Jordan and Egypt occupied this 'land' before Israel kicked them out.   Call it an occupation - that is fine.  When people want peace, things may happen.

Quote
Still want my military inside the borders

Um.... let see.  14,000 missles from Lebanon (even with UN observors there).  Hamas kicked out UN observors and fire rockets from Gaza.  And that is ok.  Dude, get a life. He is lucky he lives in the United States.

Obviously, Netanyahu is a right winger politician who is willing to accept painful compromises with a partner who truly wants peace for its people.  Forget about it.

it isnt going to happen.

As long as Hamas is there, nothing will happen.  Like Jordan and Egypt, when you have someone who wants peace, you can acheive it.  But the Palestinian right wingers dont want peace - otherwise they cant control their people.

When the Palestinians rise up, it will be different. But then again, if they do rise up, their own leaders will brutally kill them for doing it, or call them 'Israeli Collaborators'.

Where Netanyahu fails himself and Israel
By Fareed Zakaria, Published: May 25

Hmmm...  I wonder if he will have any favorable opinion on Israel anymore... obut yes, about 6% of the West Bank would be moved to Israel. The problem truly comes to Jerusalem.  Point blank, they want a quarter of the Old City (where the Golden Dome is) to be their capital, which is 50 feet from the Wailing Wall (the holiest site of Judaism).  Not going to happen.

Zakaria was born in Mumbai (then Bombay), Maharashtra, India, to a Konkani Muslim mostly secular family.[2] His father, Rafiq Zakaria, was a politician associated with the Indian National Congress and an Islamic scholar.

"Why They Hate Us," Zakaria argued that Islamic extremism was not fundamentally rooted in Islam, nor could it be claimed a reaction to American foreign policy

In January 2009 Forbes referred to Zakaria as one of the 25 most influential liberals in the American media

In July 2010 the ADL expressed its opposition to the Park51 Islamic cultural center and mosque, planned for a site that is two blocks from the World Trade Center site. Zakaria returned the award in protest, saying that he could not "in good conscience keep it anymore".

Once that name is seen on the top of the article, all credibility is gone out the window.

Nothing to see here. It's only a left winger (on top of that a muslim) voicing for the 27492749237492 time his displeasure with the USA and Israel. What else is new?

This is a tough one.

On one hand you have Benny backing one side and you have Coach backing the other.

Considering both Benny and Coach easily fit into the category of top 2% of clueless idiots on the getbig boards, I think it's safe to say that the only answer to finding true peace for Israel and its neighbors is one giant nuke dropped on all their heads.

Problem solved.

http://www.jta.org/news/article/2011/05/26/3087883/egypt-to-permanently-open-border-with-gaza

Eygpt opened it's boreders to gaza.  Egypt to permanently open border with Gaza The Egyptian border with Gaza will be opened daily beginning May 28, the Egyptian state MENA news agency reported. The border has been closed since 2007, when the Islamist Hamas organization assumed control of the coastal strip.

The decision is "part of Egyptian efforts to end divisions among Palestinians and to finalize their reconciliation."

Hopefully now they can get there hands on some real weapons!!!!  Let's see the fireworks begin YAY :)  payback is fun.
