Not surprising, given that Democrats outnumber Republicans probably by more than 2 to 1 in California.

Yup. What is surprising is that some Republican's actually spent their time and effort trying to get him recalled when it was a losing proposition from the start.

It wasn't just Republicans.  And he needed to be fired, so they did the right thing.  It was always going to be an uphill battle. 

No reasonable person can look at the condition of that state and see anything other than massive failure by Newsome.
