There are a lot of pros down here. Between Busy Body, Redcon gym and Revive, it’s a pro hotbed. Great weather, no state tax and tons of freedom. It’s a no-brainer. Bumstead lives in Palm City close to you. Nick Walker was down here as well.

Its not a bucket list. Ive spent a lot of time in the keys. Ive been sailing up and down the keys and took a 25 ft monohull from key west to mexico. You can keep mainland florida and universal studios. I know the keys well and plan on living there at some point.

The Keys are the ultimate destination (place to retire to!) … my college buddy moved there …. Runs a charter fishing boat …. Lives like a king! … so much fun.

In 1944, I was born in South Orange NJ. I lived with my mom and dad in my grandparent's gardener's cottage. My mom and I summered on Nantucket Island, MA. while my dad was stationed in Germany. Then with my mom and dad who bought a house in West Field NJ.
After my parents separated, I traveled with my grandmother to Europe and stayed in Lafat FR and Berlin GR with my uncle. When I came back to the states, I was sent to live with my dad in Parma MI. After my dad disappeared during horrendous a fight with his girlfriend, I stayed with my aunt in Tiffin OH and later settled with cousins on their farm in Albion MI. When I was 8 years old, I flew to California to live with my mom and stepdad. We lived in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Westwood. During my teens I lived Encino, Woodland Hills, and Reseda CA,
I moved out of my parents’ house on my 18th birthday to an apartment in Santa Monica and then just off ‘the strip’ in West Hollywood. My future wife and I lived in Laurel Canyon and North Hollywood. After we married, we moved to West Covina and back to West Hollywood. When my wife was pregnant, we decided to move to Portland OR where some friends of ours lived. We got homesick and moved back to California and rented a house in Granada Hills. We realized we'd made a mistake and moved back to Portland where we bought our first house.
On a whim, we decided to move to William's Lake BC to homestead with friends. This misadventure was also a mistake, so we came back, tails tucked' to Oregon and bought a house in Sellwood where we lived for 15 years before moving to Oregon City for about 12 years. We finally settled in West Linn where we/I have lived since 1998 making it the longest time I have ever lived in one place. No doubt I missed a few the places here and there where I lived over the course of my lifetime.

WTF are they even doing, it sounds like they are dropping bowling balls on the floor day and night. WTF. They aren't compatible with how Swedes want their lives to be but they have been forced on us. And goddamn they are ugly too, objectively speaking. :D

Most parts of that city is terrible, unless you want to pay like 4mkr+ for a shitty small appartment and by then you may aswell buy a nice house outside the city with better demographics..

We moved north to Oregon from Southern California in the 60's because L.A. was already too crowded. Be careful what you advise Shizzo. Floridians (including those in Tampa) will be further inundated with folks who moved south to escape the northern winter weather.
Many of my family members winter in Florida and return home to the northern states for the summer (Sunbirds/Snowbirds).

I prefer places it doesn't snow but that often means dealing with a lot of humidity in the summers. Best weather year round that I've found in the continental US is San Diego area.

Some people prefer the cold over sweltering heat. Some are born there and don’t no any better that they can move. I’m mid Atlantic so I get a temperate climate and get to enjoy all four seasons, sometimes in the same week.

All my relatives that are left (most have died) still live in Småland
Lived in Paris for a while in the nineties but would never want to live there for a longer period
If you are born and raised in Swe, you become accustomed to the weather, and even enjoy the snow (i usually say, let the children have snow for two weeks , during xmas and new year, and then we can skip it :D) to a certain degree.
The summers in Sweden are very nice.
Immigrants are a problem and lower life quality a bit, but i have now moved from where i stayed earlier (area where i lived during those years on Getbig where i complained the most on immigrants and Somalitown, Sweden etc) so it's bareable and much more manageable.
It's like night and day comparing the area i lived in earlier and the area i live in today.
Here women can go out alone during night without worry
Neighbors greet you and invite you over etc no shitskins etc
This is a much better (and richer) area than where i lived before (concrete ghetto of Peace, i think i was most annoyed, irritated and angry over the state of Sweden and coloreds in general during 2010-2020)
There are still areas in Sweden where you can feel calm and enjoy life

We had a Powerhouse here that opened in '93, the year I started training in earnest as a 14-year-old. Kevin Levrone was at its opening, and was the first pro I saw in person. He was huge and at that time, I don't think he'd torn his pec yet, because we watched him do an abbreviated upper body workout that included a solid eight reps with 495 on the flat bench, 405 for six on a 45 degree incline, some crazy heavy alt. DB curls (90s, 100s? I can't remember), and some cable work with the full rack on pulldowns and seated rows, IIRC.
Sadly, that gym folded inside of two years. Bad location, not enough business. Some of the YMCAs were pretty good, and we had GAC, run by Doug and Susan Kosh. Doug was a multi-Mr. Philadelphia winner, so that place catered to bodybuilders and more fitness-minded types alike. Eventually, they were bought out by the Y, at which time I moved to the brand-new Gold's in town. It was awesome until Planet Shitness bought *them* out :/ I tolerated them for awhile before moving back to the Y. My membership let me train at several locations here in town, and I never got bored due to a lack of variety in equipment. One location was great for power racks and dumbbells; another had cool plate-loaded Hammer Strength pieces; another still had cool selectorized weight stack machines that were easy to pin extra plates on when the rack was too light.
I got very sick in Oct. 2013, and part of my corrective surgery left me with a huge hernia. I've not been able to train since, but I have saved up enough ducats to get the hernia fixed soon. When that's done, I can't wait to train properly again :) I might have to train in Charlotte if I wanna work out in a good place, but I work in Charlotte as is, so that's no big deal.

Big family? I'm the only child now...baby sis died of lung cancer at 21 (yeah, she smoked, but only for about six years. Meanwhile, we've got people who smoke for fifty years plus and have no real issues. Where the tides of fortune take us, no man can know).
