Why doesnt Ron dip his hand in his pocket, or get an SMS donation facility added to the site?

It really is taking the piss now.

No excuses Ron, its a fucking shambles.

I will be returning to MD if this issue is not rectified upon the morrow, really!

Enjoy yourself at MD, CF. Bandwidth and server spaces costs money. The more popular getbig is, the slower it will go. Unless Ron sells advertising or charges for membership or finds a generous benefactor to foot the bill for upgrades, this is the best you are gonna get.

1) Getbig is the largest bodybuilding board in the world

2) It's free

Ron is a great guy and serves a positive force in the "industry." What he needs now is equipment that doesn't ask the users to "Hang tight" quite so often.

The problem isnt the server, it is that I may need TWO servers to handle the traffic of the boards and other things. I am looking into various options.

The poor server is overloaded! For example, do we need 606 pages of old messages on the main G&O board? Probably not. We could probably do without 500 of those 606 pages.

The oldest thread on G&O has been dormant since Christmas Eve 2005.
Perhaps removing inactive threads after so long is something to consider.
Even a three-year limit would be beneficial.
