I love garlic!
My mum always cooked with it while I was growing up.
I use it a lot to this day in things like eggs, chicken, soup, roast, pork chops, hamburgers, potatoes, etc.
If you can stomach the taste, I’m convinced that it’s best to consume it in a more natural form as opposed to a supplement.
As with most things, the more processing that goes into it…
When sick, I’ll often shovel a spoonful of minced fresh garlic into my mouth and take a big swig of water or orange juice to wash it down. It seems to do a number on colds for me – better than anything OTC or Rx.
The biggest downfall is that it “talks back.”
All of the Tic-Tacs and deodorant in Target can’t stop that odor.
Best to avoid if you work in close proximity to people.
Even people who like garlic will agree – second hand garlic is quite nasty.
