At one time the Mr. Olympia was on CBS and other bodybuilding contests were on ESPN. Now with hundreds of channels you can't find a contest anywhere.

Although I will agree that it's not fully respected ....  right now due to the efforts of Manion and a couple of fistfull of others .... it's a worldwide configuration with more yearly cash paying members  controlled by just a few industrious individuals gathering fistfulls of dollars ...... and rightfully so!

It's larger than 90%+ of today's worldwide sports federations  and heading upwards possibly into the stratosphere!

Did JM 'promise' the female competitors that they would place higher within a contest if  they signed up with him?

Or did the girls simply 'think' that they would place higher if they signed up with JM?
