I would hate to sound like one of the squad assholes, but this video truly aplies to one of those "monster" or "brutal" posts they do, dissing delusional lifters.

Come on, what good is it doing leg presses with a ton of weight with your hands on the legs with a 'brutal' lock/unlock type of ROM???? :-\

This dude should REALLY drop 5 plates per side and try for a FULL FUCKING range of motion. It makes me sick to the stomach seeing lock/unlock type of reps on the leg press...... >:(

I did 1400+ last time I was in Iraq for more than 4 reps.

1500 isn't anything special.

And I hope it was with a full range of motion.  :-\ ;)

The first two reps usually were, but I struggled a bit with the others. :)

Anyway, I'm no where near there now. I think the angle of the leg press machine is a huge factor in poundages  you can handle.

You are absolutely right. Same thing with hack squats. That's why I hate big poundage claims until I can see the kneecaps glued to the chin of the athlete who claims tons of weight leg press ability.

Lee Haney used 5 or 6 plates/side for his leg presses, but his feet were planted on the bottom of the platform and his knees more than squashed his chest on the lowest part of the movement. His legs had tremenduous shape and development......please, don't start comparisons with Coleman's legs, Hulkster et al. :-\

Looks good to me. Dude's legs came down and touched his torso which is more than can be said for most leg presses I've seen done. Most people unlock the machine and still don't move it past the locked position..weird.

If that clip looks good to you, you don't know what a true leg press motion means!  :-\

Why the hate on the real M. Moore? Thanks to the guy, Bush got exposed big time to the whole world. A lot of people in the globe , unfortunate of not living in the U.S. could get a better glimpse of the man who thinks he can run Planet Earth with his iron hands. :-X

Farenheit 9-11 should 've won an Oscar. 8) I've got it on DVD!!

Exactly !!

In his case especifically, i would bet that 6 to 7 plates/side for 20 reps and above would destroy his legs (in a good way) much , much better than those 1/258 of a rep. Provided he could perform a full, complete deep rep (if he knows what that means regarding a leg press), a much lighter weight with high reps would gorge his legs with so much blood beyond belief.

At least, if he insists on using that hell of a lot of weight, use knee wraps so they permit him to go full range with total security, plus increasing the number of reps total, per set.

come on! his legs don't come close to touching his torso. its still somewhat impressive but he would probably get better results going deeper with less weight and higher reps..the magazines always say his upperbody is impressive but he needs some wheels

i tell you who did crazy weight with deep deep reps on the leg press was mike morris

Yep, Mike Morris. There's a pic of him doing the FLEX leg press yellow and black, famous at Gold's Venice, where he crossed an Olympic bar over the top of the fully loaded platform to add more weight, and he was going deep, deep down with the reps. Too bad what happened to him (kidney fuck up). Anyone knows if he was one of Nicholls' students  ;D ?!

Lee Haney's quads were his worst bodypart....do you really want to go there???
