Why did Joe Weider Use Robbie's likeness and not Arnold's?

I think its kind of sad that Joe put face on a sculpture of Robbie Robinson and passes it off as if he looked like that.


Why didnt he use Arnold's upper body in the sculpture?

Why didnt he use Arnold's upper body in the sculpture?

Probably too recognisable, so he picked someone the mainstream pop hasnt seen.

The "body" in question could be any one of 100 physiques...

Joe Weider was doing that pose WELL before Robby ever lifted a weight...I've got mags dating back to the late 40's with Joe striking that arms crossed pose.

Oh yeah...I've got stuff as far back as the late 1800's.

Lot's of vintage posters as well...Hercules, Samson, Atlas, etc.

Maybe I'll show them all on the next edition of YO! IFBB Cribs...!

They sure looked better in the Late 1800`s and Early 1900`s than they do Today.

i wanna see that... i would always wonder why he liked bb so much but never had a physique but i guess ive only seen pics of him in his older years
