wow.

also CNN is banned from ever playing footage of WTC7 falling.  Ever.  You will NEVER see it on CNN.

Which is odd, as they will show WTC1/2 falling over and over when trying to piss people off before elections.

But WTC7, that's a no-no ;)

i had to google the lyrics:

must be the part about 'free country' or something.

To this world I am unimportant
Just because I have nothing to give.
So you call this your free country
Tell me why it costs so much to live
Tell me why.

This world can turn me down
But I won't turn away, oh no
I won't turn around.

All my work and endless measures
Never seen to get me very far
Walk a mile just to move an inch now
Even though I'm trying so damn hard
I'm trying so hard

This world can turn me down
But I won't turn away
And I won't duck and run
Cause I'm not built that way.
When everything is gone there is nothing left to fear.
The world cannot bring me down
No cause I am already here, oh no!

I am already here,
Down on my knees
I am already here
Oh, no, I am already here.
I must have told you a thousand times I am not running away.

I won't duck and run
I won't duck and run
I won't duck and run
No I pass away.

This world can turn me down
But I won't turn away
And I won't duck and run,
Cause I'm not built that way
When everything it gone
There is nothing left to fear
This world cannot bring me down
No cause I am already here.

This world can turn me down
But I won't turn away.
And I won't duck and run
Cause I'm not built that way.
When everything is gone
There is nothing left to fear
This world cannot bring me down
No cause I am already here.

I fucking knew it... I saw a huge difference in my classic rock stations... They got all patriotic even holding "united we stand" outdoor events where everyone could gather and stand united I guess ::)  But the music, so many songs were just gone.  I even heard DJs, including Alice Cooper, several times talk about how rock shouldn't be political ::) I completely took the Fox off my channel list.  Gone was any and all political rock.  ::)

Welcome to the 4th Reich  ::)

Ok, more info, this was the program director at clear channel that drew up a list of songs he didn't feel should be played post 9/11, I imagine in a sell sell sell world, there were probably many program directors that made up these lists.

"The songs on the list, either because of title or content, were considered to be remindful of the images still vivid in the minds of Americans after the tragedy in New York City."
