Overhead Squats

a sensible weight has to be used..itīs not like a normal squat & if doing say 10 reps with good form you canīt train like a powerlifter.
I see it as an exercise to train stability & dare i say it "core strength"

Thank you for the advice. Nevertheless i have short femurs, i go deeper than Platz, minus the poundages.

Yes everyone is different...just what works for me.
Just a slight raise but I'm just getting the technique polished at the moment using just an Olympic bar

May be a stance issue as well, I found I really had to points knees and toes outward to get that deep stretch.

I wouldn't want the mobility to do them. Too much risk for very minimal gain if any.
