This article from Muscular Development 1971 talks of full body workouts and Daily! Not sure if Funk has posted this.

Little bit before my time (born 1972) but heard some older guy's talk about him. Pretty impressive guy, back in the day, or so I've been told. 

They use to call him "Red" and believed he had a small gym along the coast in San Diego county for awhile. Was in the army airborne before moving down here. Said he could lose or add bwt pretty fast, either way. And his workouts were something to see...all this if memory serves me well.

Sure Funk can straighten me out if I get this stuff wrong.

He had a very impressive physique. I myself am doing full body and i am really enjoying the trip back to where it all started. Amazing if he did train every Day. I like his cardio at the end too( never needed much with his workouts). I also like his exercise selection.

That routine is brutal. I have trouble believing he did that every day.

never posted it donny but kroger was on the first muscle magazine i ever bought.. seemed like an interesting guy . he used to bulk up and then cut down for competition. he sometimes olympic lifted between 198 and 242 lb class.

some great pics Funk... had a very solid physique.  Intresting about the Olympic lifting . A lot of these old school guys lifted heavy too.
