Week 8 of Coan in the books.

Got the max rep, but for the first time ever got the shaky-shake a little during the rep.  Not a fan of that.

This rep was 10lbs less than my week ten max rep in April.  Basically, it shows up in week 8 instead of 9 based on my inputs.

Anyway, of course this creates a bit of doubt.  Reasons are likely twofold - I'm about 5-6 lbs lighter than last time, and this time I haven't really been doing any heavy leg work, whereas I squatted during the last cycle.  Probably a combo of both.

If I fail next week, will probably start adding a bit more heavy leg work, while trying to keep my poundages at a minimum 90% of current max.

That's a good idea, or may just eat all week

Heavy RDLs are part of the program on Monday.....I will add another round of something else on Thurs.

How do RDLs feel to you? Do you stand elevated and get a good stretch?

Feel good - I hit the right spots.  Form is good.

I stand on a 3 inch platform, I only go as far as when I feel the stretch, if that makes any sense.

I thought it was pretty much established that down here "arms only" workouts are strictly forbidden outside of Pride Month.

I'll defer to Hulkotron on how to address this.

Might be a "don't ask, don't tell" situation.

I hope hanging leg raises otherwise a reverse crunch would be better, advanced on an incline.
