Anybody know the results of the figure?  Couldn't find them on bodybuilding.com.   Interested to see how Tamee Marie did so I can give her s**t in the gym.   ;D

If Tamee only got 3rd, then Avis and Megan must kick some serious azz.

Tamee looks good but in those pics, her upper body looks like it overpowers her lower body- especially since her waist is tiny.  Her shoulders are HUGE.

But I sure do I wish I had a waist like that!

Ya think so?  They don't seem as defined as her upper.  Here is some full body pics.

Being fortunate enough to see that in the gym each day should help raise your intensity through the roof, bro. Use that surge in testosterone that Tamee's glutes have provided you to acheive greater gains in the gym!  :D

But looking at these pics (most not being full body) her shoulders look really big, not necessarily a bad thing but since her waist is so small it brings it out even more.
Also, is it the direction of the camera, her posing, or is her right shoulder not as full as the left?  Hard to tell from pics.

She looks great, just being the devil's advocate...she also looks quite a bit leaner then the top two and maybe the judges that day didn't like that, you never know with figure:)

I hope I am not the only one that noticed Soumaya Wilmore got screwed majorly. she was tall class, and also had a small waist, Good conditioning, and nice balance. I hope someone else was at the show. Tamie is a friend as well, and deserved to place second or first. Soumaya should have been at least first or second depending upon your preference. Avis, although she won, can look much better. I think Avis was softer than the other girls. However, I expect Avis to keep improving each show.

Good point.  Her right side seems a little underdeveloped compared to her left.  You can really notice in her right lat.  Saw her last night as a matter of fact on my way out the door which kinda suprised me because I thought she was gonna take more time off then 4 days!  I'd take like 2 weeks off  ;D

Girls are just a little tougher then you guys  ;)

I think she has a really good shot at her pro-card this year.  Do you know if she is she doing the Junior USA's?

;) As long as you're doing it for you and not for a trophy, the where and when don't really matter. The why... well good point.

The "why" has to come from within.

If I allowed the "why" to be answered by others in this industry, I would have quit and walked away long ago.

You do it for yourself...your self pride, your need to face a challenge, your desire to mold your body yet again and to see what magic you create in the gym.

Of course, that trophy is kind of hard to pass up.  Especially when it's an exact replica of all the others you have.  You can't have too much of a good thing...or can you?  Lol!   ;D

By the way, figure is alllll about the shoulders and back.  Get those to overpower the rest of the physique, and the judges seem to gravitate towards that body.

It's a very different look from that which was presented in the 90's.

I'm kind of curious as to why there were 19 girls in the short class and only three and seven in the medium and tall classes respectively.  Other shows will switch up the height ranges in order to even out the numbers.  Why wasn't this done for the Ironman, a show that offers a magazine print shoot to the winner and typically a pro card down the line if the winner(s) choose to compete nationally?  After all, at the national level, the short class is actually 5'2" and under.

Case in point:  The Emerald Cup in 2004 made a change the week of the show in order to accommodate numbers...switching the height in the short class from 5'2" and under to 5'3" and under.

I will say this:  I was quite impressed with Halcy's conditioning in her abs, shoulders, and back.
