Test and female effects
« on: September 12, 2006, 09:30:04 AM »
My wife is a none workout type so this is really more for info on hormones. She is 49 with a complete hysterectomy and taking estrace for HRT. Breast cancer runs rampant in her genes and I read that HRT will help promote exactly that. My question is this; with age hormone levels continually decrease. If she is taking exogenous estrogen and her test levels have decreased with age I see an imbalance of hormones with a high estrogen/test ratio. Has anyone heard of a female in this situation taking both an estrogen and a test supplement to return the hormone levels to a more normal ratio? I am no DR. or a smart person, but it seems logical that if you take exogenous estrogen without test that you would have more available estrogen to bind to the breast tissue and cause an increase in breast cancer rates. What effects would a small amount of test have on the female body? I know about the clit hypertrophy, facial appearance, voice deepening and other things, but at what test levels are we talking about to see these effects? Since this is a serious subject to me, I would appreciate only serious answers.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be most wise to consult her physician?  Apparently, she is receiving her estrogen HRT, through her Dr.  Why not be honest and share your concerns.  It has been my experience that if you approach the Dr and explain your thoughts and reasonings, you might be suprised with their cooperation.  It's a matter of relating what you and your wife expect from the HRT.

If she is the non get off her ass type of woman, changing her lifestyle will be difficult.  My mother ( 60 ) recently started seeing personal trainer at 24 hour fitness, and it has worked out well for her.  Most Women don't like being told what to do by their husbands, getting an outsider to train her might be a better option, as they will respond better to their pushing.  If you push her all it does is make her resent you, and thus you get no sex for a while.  But like what was said earlier,
Hard Work + treadmill + nutrition = Not Fat ASS.

I know a few girls that take heavy androgens (test, dball, stenox) and every side effect you can think of they get.  Some girls don't care.  They look GREAT (big, hard, pretty lean).  To each his own
