I'm sure that Angle would LOVE to get them into the mix.
I know he'd lobbied a while back to bring them aboard.

They would fit in perfectly there and they both know how to wrestle. McMahon was an idiot for letting them slip away.

Especially Haas, who was really coming along with his mic work and character development.

Guys like those two aren't falling out of trees.

I still don't understand why they had lame ass story lines in the WWE and why they were let go. Right there you have two wrestlers that can actually wrestle, put on a good show and they would make great heels either as a team or individually.

Orton pissed at the Miz after raw last week / calls him a "stupid guy".

In a shades similar to past incidents with Kofi Kingston and Ken Anderson, Randy Orton was visibly upset with The Miz following his match against Jey Uso during the July 26th RAW.

After hitting the RKO on Sheamus, Miz entered the ring to tease cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase. "The Viper" then hit the RKO on Miz and was unable to hide his frustration. The word coming out of the show is that Orton felt Miz was positioned in a manner that indicated he was about to be hit with the signature maneuver.

Similarly, Orton angrily reacted during a bout with Kingston last January when the Ghanaian grappler messed up the timing of the finish. Orton was seen on-camera shouting "stupid," among other obscenities, towards him. It is said that Kingston's "main event" push at the time was single handedly derailed due to the incident. Likewise, Anderson's untimely dismissal from World Wrestling Entertainment last year was largely attributed to Orton, as a result of the former Mr. Kennedy inadvertently dropping "The Viper" on his head with a back suplex. Orton later admitted to complaining to management about Anderson's in-ring work, which was the primary reason for his release from the organization.

John Walker, who famously wrestled as Mr. Wrestling II with high levels of popularity in the 1970s, reportedly suffered a heart attack near the end of the NWA Wrestling Legends convention yesterday.

No word is available yet on the condition of Mr. Walker at this time.

Not surprised to hear about this at all. Miz is horrible. Still don't think he's paid his dues long enough to be pushed as a mid-carder. He's still very inexperienced compared to the other veterans on the roster. But he draws major heat so that's got to be the reason he's getting so much exposure.

Lots of these new guys haven't paid their dues. They do 6 weeks of "tough enough", get sent to OVW for 4 months and then they're brought up to the main roster. Back in the day you had guys doing a Verne Gagne or a Hiro Mitzuda training camp which makes "tough enough" look ridiculous. Then the would be wrestlers would face bigger stars and job to them and only used in small time territories until they developed. The got to see and learn different styles of wrestling, etc.

We have breaking news this evening as World Wrestling Entertainment has suspended Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) following an incident earlier this week at the San Jose, CA hotel performers were staying at.

Company sources claim the incident was a domestic issue between Terrell and husband Drew Galloway (a/k/a Drew McIntyre), which led to police being called to the scene. There are conflicting reports over whether Terrell was arrested by the San Jose PD.

Terrell, who was scheduled to wrestle at Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view, was sent home by management following the incident. WWE has not publicly acknowledged her suspension or any possible change to the event.

It has been confirmed that Smackdown performer Tiffany (24-year-old Taryn Terrell) has been suspended indefinitely by WWE after being arrested late on 8/7 after a dispute with husband Drew Galloway (Drew McIntyre).

What is known is that both performers attended a party Saturday night in Los Angeles together and went to their hotel room. The two had a loud argument which included both hotel security and police being called. The two had already booked separate rooms when the police arrived. Terrell was arrested that night and taken in to custody.

WWE officials were not aware of the incident until Monday, and she was suspended until further information came out. Her lawyers believe she will be cleared of all charges. Right now it is likely the suspension will remain until she is officially cleared.

The early reports this incident took place on Tuesday at a San Jose hotel were incorrect.

Blog.Al.Com.com is reporting that TNA star Kurt Angle, UFC star Shane Carwin, and former WWE star Bob "Hardcore" Holly were all named as recipients of performance enhancing drugs during a court case in which J. Michael Bennett, a supervising pharmacist at Applied Pharmacy Services, was sentenced to a four-year prison term in Mobile, Alabama on Friday.

I wonder what WWE will do to Drew now?

A federal judge sentenced Applied Pharmacy Services supervising pharmacist Michael Bennett to four years in jail on Friday after he was convicted of participating in a nationwide conspiracy to illegally sell anabolic steroids made in Mobile, Alabama. Prosecutors in Albany, NY referred to Bennett and his associates as "drug dealers in lab coats" in a sentencing memorandum.

Applied Pharmacy Services clients included TNA star Kurt Angle, former WWE performer Bob Howard (a/k/a Hardcore Holly), UFC fighter Shane Carwin, and several bodybuilders. All three were named as drug recipients in court on Friday. Court documents referenced five other professional wrestlers by their initials only.

New Jersey based promotion Pro Wrestling Syndicate issued the following statement concerning former WWE performer Scott Hall:

Scott Hall was booked as our Guest Commissioner for this Sunday’s Pro Wrestling Syndicate event in Fairfield, Connecticut.

I just received a phone call from Hall’s booking agent Lenny informing me that Hall has been sent to a 50 day mandatory rehab facility in Texas by his probation officer. I am being told that the WWE is funding Hall’s rehab.

That being said, Scott Hall will not be appearing at PWS this Sunday or at any of his other scheduled bookings this weekend which includes a wrestling show in Brooklyn and several autograph signings

The old man is covering the cost, huh?
Interesting.

Hall mentioned a while back that he wished to pursue an on-air job with WWE.
That was when he was on his big “death to TNA” tirade…before they hired him back.

I'm surprised WWE is covering his rehab cost. We all know how Vince feels about wrestlers who worked for his company and left to go elsewhere to get a better deal.

I think he's already forgiven Hall based on the fact that he brought back "The Outsiders" for Mania the year Hogan faced Rock (18?).
Vince has given lots of second chances, and he will bury any hatchet in the interest of $$.
This makes me wonder if he's got anything planned for Hall.

I think Scott Hall could/would be an invaluable asset to any wrestling org. if he could just hold it together.
What is the man, now - like 50?
Grow up and cement your future!

He could do it if he had the discipline.

That's just it though. There shouldn't be "forgiveness" because at the end of the day, business is business and these wrestlers are going to do their best to look out for their best interests. At least the smart ones will. Vince is being hipocrite too because in the eighties did anyone forgive Vince when he raided all the territories and stole their talent pool? Its a bad double standard and it bit Vince in the ass in the ninties because thats exactly what Eric Bishoff did to him and I loved every minute of it.

We've got an update on the Undertaker following his return to WWE at Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Many readers who saw the Undertaker's return at SummerSlam noted that the Dead Man seemed to be out of shape and less muscular than the last time we saw him. He received medical clearance to get back in the gym just a few weeks ago, which explains that. Taker has been nursing a broken orbital bone, among other injuries. He was still experiencing vision problems as recently as last month but is expected to fully recover from the vision problems. He also suffered a concussion in the match where Rey Mysterio broke his orbital bone. His days as an active wrestler are definately numbered as his body is broken down.

Undertaker will be feuding with Kane over the World Heavyweight title over the next few months, with current plans calling for matches at Night of Champions in September as well as Hell in a Cell in October. The first Undertaker vs. Kane match (of this chapter of their feud) has been booked for WWE's return to Madision Square Garden on September 25th.

Taker and Kane @ Hell in a Cell would be awesome. Sadly, we all know who is going to win and it's not Kane.

Wish they would give that guy some time under the light, he's one of my favorites.

Yes, you're right. Kane needs his time and is a phenomenal champ.

Really? Why? I just wanna know.

He's 43 years old now. He might blow an ACL wth one more clotheline from the top rope. Why is he such a great champ?
