Moving Miz is a mistake IMO, and if they need a face on Smackdown so bad, why are they moving the #1 heel in the company to the B show?

Turn?

I wouldn't move Miz either, he's one of the few good things they've got at the moment.  I'd rather see them shift Orton or even Cena.  I wouldn't be surprised to see  Morrison booted over to SD either.

If these rumors are true, it just solidifies that they have no faith in Christian being a top guy. I would put the belt on Del Rio but would buy Christian as champ.

The smart thing to do would be to put the World Title on Del Rio.

The dumb thing to do would be to move Miz to Smackdown and repackage him as a top face. Miz is a natural heel and is doing well right now.

411mania:

On the WWE PPV calendar, the WWE Night of Champions PPV concept has been officially dropped from the schedule. The date is still scheduled for a PPV on September 18th at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY, but is now listed at "TBA" for the name of the show.

I'm thinking the Miz can go over as a face as well. VKM is really pushing this guy. Soon he'll be in movies. Smackdown is the new Miz Show. I still think it's great what he did to the belt.

Miz is a natural heel. He's flat out annoying, good on the stick, good in the ring and he's doing a great job running with the ball. As a face, I just can't see it happening.

I give him some mad props, man.
Leading up to all of this, I honestly thought there was a good chance that Miz's performances would simply foster "X-Pac Heat."

I thought Raw was pretty good..the segment with Cole and Ross went on way too long but Lawler got a huge pop when he came back in the ring and beat Cole but it's really run it's course. Truth hit that promo out of the park..it was one of the best i've seen in recent memory.

They could fill the card out so much better with better maches. Who wants to see an old overweight outta shape commentator wrestle a loudmouthed clown who can't wrestle?

I was doing well until the last five minutes!

The draft needs to go period in order to repeat the same repetitive fueds. If they mixed up the rosters there wouldn't be a problem. Have anyone show up on any given roster. My two pennies.

Dancing With The Stars' contestant Chris Jericho is the latest celebrity to be voted off the reality dance contest. The professional wrestler said he was "sad" to be leaving Dancing With The Stars but added that he was eager to return to being "a dad".

Jericho found himself at the bottom of the leader-board following Monday's program (25th April 2011) and was heavily fancied to leave the competition during Tuesday's results show. The wrestler took news of his departure in good spirits and during an appearance on Good Morning America today (27th April 2011), said, "I'm really looking forward to becoming a dad again and taking care of my family because they had to kind of step aside while I did all of these crazy moves like the pasodoble". Jericho, who has a 7-year-old son and twin girls with his wife Jessica Lee Lockhar, performed a tango routine to Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' on Monday's show. Judge Bruno Tonioli criticised the wrestler, saying he "turned into a lump of granite".

Since the opening week of Dancing With The Stars, Jericho has placed in numerous positions on the leader-board and had impressed head judge Len Goodman with his "finesse and elegance". The show continues next week with just six contestants left in the competition

It was reported yesterday that WWE officials discussed moving The Undertaker to RAW to make up for a top babyface character being transferred to SmackDown! during the 2011 WWE Draft.

While the draft came and went without “The Deadman” changing brands, company sources indicate he’ll join RAW upon his return to television.

Two weeks before next years Wrestlemania.
Guaranteed he had to take a pay cut. The question in mind is what kind of a payout does Vince give him for his WM match. I know for a fact that Big stars like Cena and HHH got 1 mill for their WM main event matches in the past. So in one match, he gets a year's salary which is why he goes all out for that one big match and then is forced to heel for 9 months.

Variety is reporting that WrestleMania 27, which featured the return of the Rock, along with appearances by Steve Austin ,Trish Stratus, Snooki from Jersey Shore scored one million PPV buys. Final numbers are not available, but word is that buys are up 30% in North America and up to 15% overseas. For comparison, WrestleMania 25 scored 960,000 buys, and WrestleMania 26 did 885,000 buys.

The article also credited the marketing WWE did for the event as a factor in the rise in buys, noting that the company had their performers all over different television shows for appearances

prowrestling.net-

A WWE shareholder asked Vince McMahon about the possibility of buying TNA during the annual shareholders meeting on Friday. "When are you going to buy the three letter company that's based in Nashville, Tennessee, because they have the wrong people running that company?" the shareholder asked. "Please save the business from Dixie Carter. Stephanie has more brains than Dixie Carter."

Vince said "right" after the shareholder said they didn't have the right people running the company. Vince added, "I would hope," after the shareholder said Stephanie has more brains than Dixie. "I don't know if they're for sale," Vince eventually responded. After some goading from the shareholder, Vince replied, "Well... maybe," with a smile, which drew a lot of laughs.

Odds and ends from last nights raw...

Thanks to Nick Bazar for sending in this report:

* I was live at the show tonight; here are some thoughts…

* There is a good mix of kids and adults in the crowd. Also, there are quite a few older (retro) shirts here as well.

* There are a ton of balloons strapped to the ceiling for tonight’s birthday bash.

* Lots of USA and “Cena Sucks” chants.

* In a DARK match, Chris Masters defeated Primo with the Masterlock.

* In a SUPERSTARS match, Beth Phoenix defeated Melina. Towards the end, Melina lost a boot.

* In a SUPERSTARS match, Evan Bourne defeated Zack Ryder. The match was slow.

* Lilian Garcia is in the ring before the show to sing the National Anthem.

The Rock has noted on his Facebook page, found at Facebook.com/DwayneJohnson?sk=app_183222878395202, that all profits made this week on sales of his "Team Bring It" T-Shirt will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.
