Learned something new about Whiskey/Rye/Bourbon. If you are having more then one brand you should always drink the best first.
Your taste buds get desensitized he more you drink so the best doesn't taste as good as if you had it first.

Found a bottle of Weller 12 for a good price,I've been looking for awhile.
Also picked up a Blanton's wih a O now all I need is a N' then I have them all.

Willet Rye 4 year is just fantastic.

...Had a bottle for years I never opened because at the time it was hard to get but recently I started to see it in stores so I opened mine and Damn I'm glad I did!

What drives me crazy with expensive booze is watching millennials mix it with soda or juice. Expensive booze stands alone if it's good.

That behavior would not be accepted here.

Gave my wife's nephew a pour of Blanton's last christmas because he asked for whiskey. He said thanks, then filled the glass with coke.

CT's own Litchfield distillery bourbon is nasty

Can't the good water used in Kentucky so they have to put chemicals in the water to get the Limestone taste effect and it's never right.

I find most whiskey/bourbon outside that area lacking.

I was in beloved cooperstown, and bought their whiskey because it was in a glass bottle shaped like a baseball (still have).......whiskey was ass though.

Some Bourbons flavor opens up with a drop of water. I've never been to one but some bars have actual droppers so they can add water.

My soda story was at a wife's cousin's house.

Soda is pure poison.
