I like those. I used to do them (once every 6 weeks) starting about 2 inches below the knees and then pause at the top for a 3 or 5 count.

Most I did was 765lb for 6. I swear my traps grew at the end of the set visibly ;D

It's only a 4 - 5 inch ROM. You can add at least 2 plates on top of your max deadlift weight and I've done 540 lb on the deadlift (my strongest lift).

I only do the partial rack lockouts once every couple of months or so. But I deadlift once every 2 weeks.

Yes! the best Ive ever did was a g but i was on 10,000mgs of test and deca a week.

the mid thigh setting for me was about a 2-3 inch pull (14 plates) and it looks pretty pointless I'm sure, but come time for the 3rd set it's pretty damned hard just to get that bar off the safeties....

totally different type of soreness in the traps compared to plain old shrugs
